Another overdue update!

Ai. I’m sorry for the long silence!!! It has been an extremely hectic, both physically but more importantly emotionally. Well, first, after the lovely and relatively quiet visit from Mich and Luke, we were visited by an old roommate of Daddy. Like Daddy, N had in the time they’d parted, gotten married and had 2 kids, almost the same ages as Bibou and Angel. She’d brought her family over back to Paris for a visit. So it was a very busy, crowed week at our house over new years. A few days later, Daddy then went on to have his knee operated on; in what was meant to be a day surgery but turned out a little more complicated than expected and he had to stay overnight. He was fine but that night was tad bit difficult for me as I had no idea what was happening. The nurses couldn’t tell me much except that he had to stay overnight and Daddy was too drugged to know what was happening! It all turned out well, and Daddy checked out the very next day, but it was still a very difficult and worrisome night for me. I spent the next few days at home with Daddy. THEN I went back to work only to receive some bad news. As you all should know by now, I was given a very difficult choice at work. It was a very tough time, it still is! And I fear that it is only the beginning. Anyway, decision is made and we will have to deal with the situation.

So, back to the update and our time with N and family. We did have a couple of fun filled moments though, such as when we went to Klooney Planet one very miserably wet day. It had been a long time since we’ve been to Klooney Planet or any such similar amusement places… probably over a year ago! Bibou as always, was terrible excited w
hen she arrived and couldn’t wait to run off with her new best friend. She took M’s hand and they ran off, Bibou showing her everything excitedly. She found and took the quickest route possible to get to the slides and by golly did she have a jolly good time just going up and down those slides (yes, she even climbed UP the slide…that monkey!!!). We couldn’t catch up with her as she was a blur of blue running through the obstacles (unlike Ludimax, adults were not allowed to be in the structure). She had loads and loads of fun! Angel was confined in the ‘little kids’ area (mostly ‘coz we aren’t allowed in the other areas and didn’t want to lose her. But she had LOADS of fun. She was a bit hesitant at first, but then, oh my, off she went! She went over and over and over again, though she did stop to pose for some photos for Daddy! What a poser. She loved the slide and also climbing to the top of the ‘hill’ (HA!). She didn’t quite like the ball pool though, except when Daddy went into it! Only then did she venture in and even then, she didn’t have that much fun, preferably to come out of the pool quickly. After she got tire of the slides, we got together with Bibou and we all went to the trampoline. Now Bibou’s been on these huge trampoline but not Angel (our little one in the garden don’t really count as you can ‘hang on’ on the bar). As soon as she got on, she fell, as she couldn’t get her balance. But she just let out a huge peal of giggles and got right back on again, tried to run across the trampoline and promptly fell over! And so it became a trend, up down laugh laugh up down. Oh it was a hilarious sight. Eventually she’d do a funny run across the trampoline (I guess in an attempt to gain her balance). Bibou on the other hand, was an expert at it. She just jumped jumped jumped. She did try her hardest to help Angel though. I absolutely adore the photo of both of them flopped on the mat laughing their hearts out. So sweet!

On another day, Daddy and N took the kids out to the Cite of Science. Unfortunately, I had to work, so I didn’t join them. For
tunately, Daddy managed to take photos of the kids while they were there. Apparently they had loads of fun. Bibou more than Angel of course as she could comprehend a lot of the exhibitions, well, perhaps the better word would be experiment… apparently there was the ‘big and small’ exhibits, the ‘construction’ site etc. After all the exhibits, everyone went outside to have fun on the merry-go-round and have a nice hot cocoa.

Look at how Angel tries to stay upright on the trampoline!

Here's another one of her sliding over and over again.

Here's our little climber.

And my little daredevil flying down the slide.
