Bibou, the show off

We had a couple of busy weekends recently. Last weekend, we went to our good friends' the Molas for a really delicious full Irish breakfast with Irish sussages, black and white sussages, bacon, potatoe cakes, tomatoes and mushrooms. We sure had a feast! Bibou was really excited about going to "Emma and Kealan" and kept repeating "Emma and Kealan?" throughout the journey. She couldn't wait to get there!

After our scrumptious meal, the kids went off to play with we adults (and a sucking baby!), chatted. After a while, Emma and Kealan came into the living room with costumes! They were playing dress up, and poor Bibou felt a little left out. But no worries, they remembered that they had a fairy dress that was too small for Emma and so brought it out for Bibou to wear, who very excited rushed off to tear off her clothes and put her outfit on (all by herself - or perhaps with the help of the twins). Then she came running into the living room to show off her outfit. Now, while we were ooohing and aahing at her, she did something that no one had ever taught her (well, not that we know off) - she pulled at her hems with her fingertips and then twirled around on her heels to show off! We were rolling on the floor with laughter! You should have seen the look in her eyes, they were sooo shining. She was absoulately loving the attention. We kept asking her to spin and spin around she did, still holding on to her hems (like doing a curtsey)! Out came the camera and we asked her to do it again, Daddy asking her to 'spin'... however, she heard 'Spit" and spit! That was really hilarious! Fortunately, it was all captured on video below.

2 days ago, we hosted a MESSAGE BBQ even though the weather is (still is!) yucky! Where is the Summer? It was cloudy, cool and even rained a bit. But it did clear up nicely and we had a great time with all that came. Here are some pictures from that day taken by a friend.

Here is the video of Bibou twirling / spinning on her heels :
