Adventures of Bibou and Dan (and many more to come!)

It was a scorcher on Sunday! What a treat - it went up to 36 degrees in the afternoon, in the sun. But what a weird summer, once sun was down, it became cool again, and actually very nice in the shade in the evening. So nice that Daddy and I had our dinner out in the garden again, and we had a very nice surprise visit! - We heard rustling amongst the dried leaves in the strawberry patch and at first Daddy and I were debating what it was. I thought it was a rat, and he said that it was either Mika or Lion, the neighbourhood cats. So Daddy got out a torchlight as it was way too dark to see anything by then, and found a... hedgehog. It was sooo cute. Well, it was cute to me, as I've never seen one before, let alone in my own garden (Urban Singaporean that I am). Wanted to snap a photo of it, but by the time we got the camera, s/he gone! I hope it'll stay in our garden. Anyway, yes, it was a lovely day, except that it was lousy the next day! Thunderstorm and pissing all day, and it wasn't warm! That's just sooo werid.

So, lovely day it was and the pool was warming up a little in the garden. We got a nice surprise in the morning when Dan's parents called and took up our offer (extended the day before) to come and cool in the pool! So yippee, they came over and the kids had so much fun in the pool. As Bibou had learnt to enjoy the floating
ring the day before, she'd happily used it and taught Dan to have fun on it too. And boy did those two go at it! At one point, we found both of them in the ring itself at the same time, and trying to 'move' together! However, soon, we noticed the Dan's lips were BLUE! The pool was cold, but they kids were having so much fun that they didn't noticed that they were cold. So we took them out, wrapped them in nice big fluffy blankets and stood them in the sun so that they'd warm up. And these two posers began hamming it up in front of the cameras for us. It was hilarious.

Oh and while those two were having fun, the smaller ones, Yohan and Angel got to know each other a little better on the blanket. Yohan, being the older one, began showing his interest in Angel (he loves babies),
and wanted to touch Angel...but unfortunately, he's still too little to be able to do it gently. So we had to monitor the both of them very very carefully. But no problems...they were good together. Great practise for later! Hopefully, these two will love each other and have as much fun together as their older brother and sister together.

Well, here's a video of Bibou and Dan in the pool (though it was the 'end' already and they were both a bit tired!) :
