Yes, it's the month of May, and there's lots of public holidays. 3 this month. Yippee. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't terribly great, not like the previous weekend. But it wasn't all that bad. The rain didn't last for long, and we had snatches of sun.
On Sunday, we went and got some potager plants and when we came back, the sun was shining so great and warm. We all went to change into something cooler and went straight to the garden! Bibou changed into a pair of the cutest shorts! She loved it! She was running around and around in the garden. It was a lovely sight to see. She has a lot of energy and we're glad when she has the opportunity to 'run it out', so it tires her in the evening!
Round and round she went. The only thing though is it tires out a lot too! ... Trying to catch up with her is no small feat. Finally she tired out a bit and wanted to go inside to 'sit'. So I went inside with her while Daddy continued with the potager. She sat nicely with her little picture book.. She enjoys going through the book herself, she'll flip the pages herself. She takes great delight in squealing out the pictures / words that she knows, like Apple, Baby, Juice etc. For words that she doesn't know yet, she'll point to the picture and ask me to say it. Recently, we've been doing 'animals noises', like a cow goes 'mooo', cat goes 'meow'. The picture on the right just got me rolling on the floor with laughter. That's her imitation of a gorilla. (gorilla scratches itself under the armpit and goes 'whoooo')!!!
Oh and the first rose has bloomed!
For dinner, Bibou had chicken and vegetable stew while we had ribs (from Chinatown) yum yum. However, after her dinner, she asked for our ribs! And BOY, as these pictures can attest, did she enjoy them. Oh yes, she's Mummy's girl alright! She loves her bones!! She even had her feet 'up'! See how she hoised her feet so you can see her tiny toes sticking out!.
Bon Ap!!
