Bibou's Mummy's first Blog

Well, here we go! Our first blog. Last night, Bibou was watching her new video (Baby can read) that Kong Kong had just sent over. I was surpised at how quickly she caught on! This morning, while taking Bibou up to her 'ta-ta' (her nanny), I started asking her, what sounds do certain animals make. She said, cats go 'meow' (in a cute little girly voice of hers), cows go 'Oooooo' and what got us squealing with laughter was when we asked her what pigs say. She scrunched up her face trying to make a funny face and make a 'piggy' noise. She's picking things up really quickly.

I'm amazed at her agility too. Even her teachers at the creche have mentioned that for her age, she's more developed than her peers. She's got great balance, can run and climb like a little monkey. She's climbing up and down the stairs now.

She's also eating with a fork / spoon on her own, and drinking from a cup. We can't decide if it is a good thing yet. She won't let us feed her now! But really, meal times, are a lot more easier as she will eat 'our' food and we don't need to make any 'special' meals. We can also take her out! Her favorite foods currently are sussages and chicken nuggets. She also LOVES fruits, which is a relief. She will ask for apples too.
